Freund said, “Minutes later, the baby’s body slipped out and he was holding his kid in the air with both hands.” He was overwhelmed by emotion.
Freund stated, “As a birth photographer, I see a variety of emotions in the delivery room. Sometimes there is connection, love, and happiness, and other times there is monotony, disappointment, annoyance, and bewilderment.
“This birth topped the spectrum of emotions. It was remarkable to capture such unadulterated joy.
The pinnacle of my profession is capturing the rawness of childbirth.
