Chateau du Soleil, or Mansion of the Sun, located at 6431 Georgetown Pike, was first listed in January 2022 but was only recently completed by McLean’s The Building Group Inc. and offered for $25 million by Mark Lowham and Daniel Heider of TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. These are the first photos taken inside and out.Chateau du Soleil, or Mansion of the Sun, is finished. It is listed by Mark Lowham and Daniel Heider of TTR Sotheby’s International Realty.

The 10-bedroom limestone and brick home, with 11 full bathrooms and four partial bathrooms, includes a 3,300-square-foot primary suite overlooking the pool and gardens and an 1,100-square-foot, two-level “primary closet” with Italian cabinetry and custom lighting.

Across the mansion’s four levels is a “richly paneled library” and grand ballroom, plaster dome above the foyer, Italian marble and white oak hardwood floors, forged iron railings, dozens of custom crystal chandeliers, spa with massage room, sauna, fitness center, private hair salon, safe room, wine cellar, card room, cinema, elevator and garage with five stacked parking spaces. There are four kitchenettes and a spice kitchen in addition to the main kitchen, and guest or staff quarters “discretely positioned above the garage,” per the listing.

The gated estate’s infrastructure includes a full-home generator, smart home technology controlling the HVAC, lighting, security and sound systems and 10 HVAC zones.

Outside is a lap pool surrounded by “dancing fire bowls,” a fire pit, separate cabana and 250-inch television, koi pond, French garden and jogging path. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s a separately deeded building site for a guest house, gatehouse and 30 additional parking spaces.

This appears to be The Building Group’s second-largest residential undertaking, just slightly smaller than the 24,000-square-foot Le Chateau De Lumiere in Great Falls. Mike and Mandy Mafi’s company acquired the Chateau du Soleil property in early 2021 for $5 million.
