Liv Morgan Asks ‘Daddy’ Dominik Mysterio for Help to Defeat Rhea Ripley at Summerslam 2024 – Can This Change the Battle?

At a certain point, you have to wonder if Liv Morgan is trying to get Dominik Mysterio murdered by Rhea Ripley, or if she genuinely just wants to stick it to her most bitter WWE foe, or if she truly has developed feelings for him; or if it’s all of the above heading into Summerslam 2024 in Cleveland on Aug. 3.

There is no way to discern which of those things is atop Morgan’s thought process at the moment, but that’s also a nod to how sensational she’s been in this arc of her Revenge Tour.

With the match now officially set between Morgan and Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship, Mysterio is going to have to make a decision on which side he’s actually on — having waffled recently more than the restaurant Jey Uso wants to take Mami to (a proposition she’s beginning to warm up to, by the way).

“I hope Daddy Dom will be there,” Morgan told Good Karma Wrestling, via Fightful.” I hope that he’ll be there. I hope that he’ll be supporting me. I hope that he sees in me what I see in him because I think Daddy Dom has unlimited potential and I think a lot of it is still on top.”

Easily one of the top megaheels in the company after turning on his “deadbeat dad”, Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, the protege of the late Eddie Guerrero has all of Morgan’s supposed affections.

And she sees big things for him on the horizon.

“I think he’s going to be the biggest star in the company,” Morgan said. “I have so much faith and belief in him. Plus, like, I just love being in his presence. He is such … a specimen of a man. I hope that I only do a little bit for him, what he does to me.

“So I hope, of course, that Daddy Dom is going to be rooting for me.”

It’s not out of the realm of possibility, seeing as they were together in-ring in Mexico only hours before Dom spent three hours pleading with Ripley on WWE RAW.

It’s doubtful he’d root for Morgan outwardly, even if inwardly, with Ripley’s brutality standing right there, but there’s a real scenario wherein Dom decides who walks out of Summerslam with that particular title belt.

Morgan won’t stop until she makes sure it’s her.
