Romeo, a 7-year-old dog, was brought to a busy shelter in New York City, and it was cruelly clear what the poor thing would experience. This dog is really depressed, and he can’t help but express it because of all the unfamiliar noises and scents around him, as well as the fact that his family isn’t there.
He resisted raising his head off the ledge in his kennel for two days in a row. Second Chance Rescue NYC Dogs said on Facebook, “Not a muscle, truly.
Romeo ending up as simply another number at a shelter is obviously not his fault.
A family friend received it and kept it for two months, but she didn’t have time for it.”
Without any chance of finding a family who would show him the love the other had withheld from him, Romeo simply waited on death row with his head bowed.
Romeo was only rescued by Second Chance because they wanted to give him another chance and get him out of that situation. Romeo was placed with a foster family in this manner, and everything went smoothly for a while.
