The love and loyalty of a dog are truly remarkable. They are willing to put themselves in harm’s way to protect their loved ones, and when they are in danger, they rely on us to come to their rescue. Such was the case with a beautiful dog who was impaled by a rod in a construction site.
Neighbors were horrified when they discovered the dog laying by a rod with it piercing through her thigh. She was in agony and couldn’t free herself no matter how hard she struggled. Thankfully, they called Animal Aid to the rescue.
Animal Aid quickly arranged for workers to come with an electric metal saw to cut the rod and free the dog. Despite her wound being serious, they were able to clean, bandage and protect her with antibiotics.
After her ordeal, the dog needed extra love and care to find the courage she would need to heal. She received daily wound dressings and many cuddles for a month, and slowly but surely, she started to heal. Her resilience and determination to recover were truly remarkable.
And now, after going through such a traumatic experience, the dog has made a beautiful recovery. She is happy and healthy, and her loving spirit has not been broken. Her transformation from a scared and injured animal to a joyful and energetic one is nothing short of miraculous.
