Painful Shelter Dog With 3-Pound Tumor Gets New Life After Surgery

A little dog named Boo Boo has been given a new lease on life after undergoing surgery to remove a massive 3.2-pound tumor. The tumor, which was hanging from her left side, was never treated by her previous owners, and had grown so large that it was dragging on the ground and causing Boo Boo discomfort.

Thankfully, Boo Boo was taken in by Muttville Senior Dog Rescue in San Francisco, where the staff were able to provide her with the care she needed. They temporarily used a belly band to lift the mass and prevent it from dragging, and then sent her to a veterinarian for bloodwork.
