Lorelai has finally been released from her cage after 14 long years. The rescue organization that took her in is grateful for the overwhelming support and requests to adopt this wonderful dog. They are also thankful to Lorelai for introducing them to such amazing and caring individuals willing to adopt her. The team is humbled and grateful for everyone’s support in their work, and Lorelai’s story has sparked a wildfire of love and support for animal welfare. 
Lorelai is now an assistant and, like all older dogs, is skeptical about her new life. She needs time to adapt, as seen in the video, where she struggles to walk and has difficulty adjusting to a new environment. After being confined for so long, she finds it difficult to move around, almost as if she wants to die. But now, she is free, and everyone is encouraged to watch her progress.
The team is committed to finding the best home for Lorelai, one that is suitable for her environment and social context, including humans and other dogs. They are searching for the perfect fit for Lorelai, rather than just someone who is kind. Everyone who requested to adopt her is amazing, and the team suggests adopting another “Lorelai” – a dog from a shelter, abandoned, and mistreated.
