He had a massive, chiseled physique that would shock WWE fans today. Cena’s bodybuilding look was in 1999 after he graduated from Springfield College with a degree in exercise psychology and body movement. Cena performed in Ultimate Pro Wrestling and his physique became less chiseled, but still as muscular as can be.
The rest was history after Cena moved to SmackDown in 2002. He’s continued to be a WWE fan-favorite and is a three-time World Heavyweight Champion, two-time WWE Tag Team Champion, a two-time World Tag Team Champion, and a two-time Royal Rumble winner.
After being a free agent from 2017 to 2019, and starring in many movies, the 46-year-old Cena has returned to the wrestling company. He recently returned to SmackDown and helped the program record almost seven times as many viewers as rival All Elite Wrestling Collision.
Cena doesn’t have the same legendary build from his prime days.But he still has a vein-popping, muscular physique in his mid-forties. He’ll appear in the next seven episodes of SmackDown and recently appeared at WWE Payback last week. Cena will compete at Superstar Spectacle on September 8.
