Declan Rice has updated his situation via social media in response to reports that he is about to join Arsenal.
Since January, the Gunners have chosen Rice as a priority target for midfield. The north London side attempted to negotiate with West Ham this summer, and in the end, The Hammers agreed to let the English star come to the Emirates when they received an offer worth £105m.
Arsenal fans are currently waiting for the deal to be officially announced. Meanwhile, coach Mikel Arteta’s side are currently in Germany to train for their pre-season.
As for Rice, the West Ham captain took to Instagram photos showing him training in Portugal with the caption: ‘Back to training’ with a ‘full battery’ emoji. Thus, before Arsenal announced the deal, Rice remained secret about the Gunners’ record-priced deal.
According to the Evening Standard, Declan Rice will end her summer break this weekend. Arsenal announced the deal and then Rice will join Arsenal on the tour in America.
