Butterbean has made Jake Paul a gigantic fight offer ahead of his showdown with Mike Tyson.
Paul improved to 10-1 with a sixth-round TKO victory over bare-knuckle boxing champion and ex-UFC fighter Mike Perry earlier this month. The influencer was originally scheduled to face ‘Iron Mike’ but health issues saw Tyson push back his return to the ring until November.
While Paul has a few months to prepare for his matchup with Tyson, Butterbean has offered the 27-year-old an opportunity to add another notable name to his professional record. Eric Esch, better known as Butterbean, was a star attraction in the nineties due to his reputation as a knockout artist, earning 57 KOs across his 77-10-4 career.
Paul has faced criticism for agreeing to face Tyson, 58, but the former heavyweight champion is not the only ex-pro willing to dust off their gloves. Butterbean is also eyeing a return to the ring – and the 57-year-old hopes to tempt Paul into accepting an all-or-nothing fight.
Speaking on TikTok, Butterbean shared his fight proposal: “Hey Jake Paul, would you fight me for $2m [£1.5million]? Winner takes all.”
It is not the first time that Butterbean has suggested ‘The Problem Child’ could be his first opponent since 2013. After transforming his weight, courtesy of help from ex-WWE star Diamond Dallas Page, Esch has often spoken about squaring off against Paul and Tyson in recent years, even before they had agreed to fight one another.
