Alex Pereira Responded To Anthony Joshua After The Heavyweight Boxer Encouraged The Ufc Star To Transition To A Boxing Career.

Alex Pereira and Anthony Joshua had an unexpected interaction on social networks, attracting the attention of fans.

UFC champion Pereira, who just defeated Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303 with a thunderous head kick, has proven his formidable power in the martial arts world. ‘Poatan’ has become an unpredictable force in the UFC.

Anthony Joshua, a former two-time heavyweight boxing champion, publicly supported Pereira on social media. He tweeted: “Alex Pereira should make his boxing debut one day.”

Pereira responded sincerely: “I’m honored that you think like that. It’s always been my dream. I’m 37 years old and can’t pursue this career anymore, so you advise me to fight Who?”

Pereira’s answer opened up the possibility of joining the group of UFC fighters who have transitioned to the boxing arena. He participated in a single heavyweight boxing match against Marcelo De Souza Cruz in 2017 and has extensive experience in kickboxing, having been a GLORY champion.

Francis Ngannou, another UFC fighter, left the competition to enter the boxing ring, fighting Tyson Fury and most recently Joshua, where he was brutally defeated. The hefty salary could attract Pereira, who could easily reach the welterweight limit.

Although Pereira may not pursue a long-term boxing career due to his focus on the UFC, with Joshua’s praise, he may consider this option. Pereira left a profound mark in the UFC and won titles in two weight classes.

Comparisons to boxing legends like Mike Tyson and Terence Crawford add to the excitement of fans thinking about Pereira’s potential in the boxing ring.
