Triple H, the current Chief Content Officer for WWE, has brought significant changes to the wrestling world since WWE WrestleMania XL. The company proudly declares this period as “the Paul Levesque era.” Although Kenny Omega has never collaborated directly with Triple H and is an EVP of AEW, he holds great respect for Triple H’s abilities as a booker and a wrestler.
During a recent Twitch stream, Omega was asked about his thoughts on Levesque’s creative contributions to the wrestling industry. Despite not being able to identify a specific storyline solely crafted by the former WWE Champion, Omega expressed his admiration for Triple H’s openness to various wrestling styles.
“Everyone seems to know just what he is booking and what he isn’t booking. Even as a wrestler who has kind of like an inside track, I don’t know what his ideas are,” said Omega. “I don’t know what’s a result of just what comes from his brain and his brain alone, so I can’t comment to that. What I do appreciate is that he’s open-minded to all the styles of the world of wrestling. I think I’m sure he probably prefers one over the other or some over others, but I like that he’s giving everything a shot.”
Omega’s comments highlight the respect and recognition Triple H has garnered across the wrestling community, even from those outside WWE. The flexibility and inclusivity in Triple H’s booking approach have made a notable impact, earning him praise from peers and fans alike.
