The pair states on the brand name they chose:
“The name ‘Lauren and Douglas’ arose approximately 15 years ago when we placed our middle names next to one other and thought it would be a fantastic company name if we ever started our own business.”
According to both, they like photographing the “raw beauty of life.” Dania specializes in baby and maternity photography.
On the couple’s profile are gorgeous and genuine images of labor, mothers holding their newborns for the first time, the first breastfeeding, and newborn portraits.
At the same competition, Anne Lucy from Brazil won first prize for her photograph titled “The most important love in the world.” A woman who has just given birth to her kid embraces him for the first time with tears of joy and passion.
