Ryan Garcia Sued for 100 Million Dollars After Being Banned: The Whole World Is Against Him, Will He Accept the Challenge From Devin Haney?

Football player Ryan Garcia is facing many legal troubles, as he is being sued for a total amount of up to 100 million dollars. Garcia called those suing him “vile” in his response to the situation.

The series of lawsuits began when Logan Paul filed a lawsuit against Garcia alleging that Paul’s Prime product caused Garcia to fail a PED test. However, the problem became even more complicated when Devin Haney, Garcia’s opponent in the super lightweight championship match in April, also filed a lawsuit against him after Garcia tested positive for a banned substance.

Haney claimed that Garcia’s use of PEDs negatively affected his career, as Garcia was initially awarded the title victory in the fight. This lawsuit seeks damages for Haney.

In addition, Jordan Plant, Caleb Plant’s wife, also sued Garcia for insulting comments she made on social networks. In response, Garcia announced that he would sue Caleb Plant for assault in a recent fight.

Despite facing these lawsuits, Garcia hinted at the possibility of an out-of-court settlement with Haney. He shared that his current legal troubles have significantly affected him both inside and outside the ring.

“100 million dollars later […] More money comes more problems, I just have to ignore these vile people,” Garcia wrote. In a later tweet, he added, “When do people get mean and start suing? Oh wait, they want the money.”

Garcia was ordered to pay a $1.2 million contract fine and an additional $10,000 to the New York State Athletics Commission (NYSAC). After being suspended by NYSAC in June, Haney announced plans to pursue further legal action against Garcia. Haney claimed that because Garcia used performance-enhancing drugs and defeated him, he did not receive attractive offers – even though the loss was erased from his record and became a no-result.

Garcia, upon learning of Haney’s lawsuit, claimed he was being sued for “hurting Devin’s feelings”. He also suggested an out-of-court settlement: “We can settle out of court.. what do you suggest?”

It’s unclear whether Garcia can agree on a figure with Haney, but the situation promises to be a blow to his finances.
