Mayweather Fights The Nephew Of A Mafia Boss, While Criticizing Mike Tyson For “stealing” Money From The Audience.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., a famous legend in the boxing world, will return to the ring on August 24. This time, he will face John Gotti III, the grandson of notorious mafia boss John Gotti, in the fight. CDMX Arena in Mexico.

 

Mayweather and Gotti III previously clashed in June 2023 at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida, in a bout that ended amid a brawl between both teams and spectators. Their rematch promises to be even more intense and thrilling.

Mayweather boasts an illustrious professional career with 50 wins and no losses, including 27 victories by knockout in five different weight classes. His last professional fight was in August 2017, defeating Conor McGregor in round 10.

John Gotti III, a 31-year-old boxer from Rockville Center, New York, holds a record of 2-0 in professional boxing and 5-1 in MMA. His most recent boxing bout ended in a first-round knockout victory in January 2021.

In other developments outside the ring, Mayweather criticized Mike Tyson for what he described as “robbing” the audience. Mayweather expressed his opinion on the upcoming match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, scheduled to take place on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Texas, USA.

Mayweather argued that a fight between Paul and Tyson was inappropriate due to the age difference, predicting a predictable outcome that would amount to a “money grab” from the audience. He implied that the match lacked competition and skill despite the high ticket prices.
