Abandoned and pregnant, Mama Dog Mam Natajuli was in a dire state when she was left in front of the IAPA shelter. Fortunately, she was found and taken in by the shelter’s staff who provided the care and support she desperately needed.
At nine weeks pregnant, Mam Natajuli was weak and unable to stand. She was also clearly terrified and it took some time for her to calm down. However, the staff at the IAPA shelter immediately sprang into action to ensure that she was comfortable and had everything she needed to deliver her puppies safely.
After a few hours of labor, Mam Natajuli gave birth to a remarkable 14 little puppies! The staff at the shelter were overjoyed to see the new arrivals and worked tirelessly to ensure that both the mama dog and her puppies were healthy and well-cared for.
